Customizing the Layout of Your Water System
LegiMapper automatically places components and configures connections based on the information you entered into the pop-up form.
To reposition your components, you can adjust placement and spacing by clicking and dragging a component. The connections will remain intact.
Manually Drawing Connections
You can add connections between components without editing the component information.
- Click the small hamburger menu in the upper right corner of a component and select Draw Connection.
- Click on the component you wish to start with and drag your cursor to the component you want to connect to. A new connection line will appear automatically.
- To remove a connection, click on the connection line then hit the delete key on your keyboard. A pop-up will ask you to confirm that you want to delete the connection. Click Yes.
- Connections drawn manually or deleted will automatically update the Water flows to and Water flows from fields in the component information.
